Moofa makes animated films for the specific, high-stakes occasions institutions care about most, a prize being given, an exhibition opening, a donor evening. However the film will be shown, the work begins the same way: by reading the source deeply and building the film from it. Here is how that work divides.
Films unveiled at the moment an award is given, built from the honoree's own work and revealed as a surprise in the room. Our ongoing edition for the Dan David Prize, the world's largest history prize, runs to twenty-seven films across three years.
Films made from the same source material an exhibition is built on, to live in a gallery, a foyer, or a collection online. Work for the L. A. Mayer Museum, for Yad Vashem, and for Voice of the People (Otzera).
Films made for a single evening or a lasting installation, including VR and immersive work, such as our experience for the National Film Board of Canada. Where a project calls for a form of its own, we build one.
